Who wants to play Chubby Bunnies?
I went to the dentist yesterday. It was three hours for the hardest tooth. I was awake the whole time. It was doable but I know why they knock you out in the states. The recovery is going fine. I feel like I have a bunch of marshmallows packed into my left cheek. Every time I see my reflection I can't help but be reminded of playing Chubby Bunnies.
I will have the top one on the same side removed in a few weeks. That one is "easy", or so they say.

Man,.... It's like pull'n teeth
When I was a kid and I didn't want to do what my dad wanted, he would often say "It's like pull'n teeth". I always thought that that didn't really mean to me what it meant to him. You see I actually liked going to the dentist because that meant I got out of school and I just wasn't that fond of school. I suppose it may be rare for a kid to prefer getting a filling to sitting in class but that's the way it was.
Now that I have analyzed my slightly twisted childhood, I suppose I should tell you how this relates to something... or anything.
I have to get my remaining wisdom teeth pulled. I have known this for about a year now but it has never been a priority. It has suddenly become one now that I have been feeling the pain for a few days. I have also had a hard time eating. I go in on Tuesday @ 9:30 for the procedure to remove them both. It will be done by a Dentist here in PP that was recommended to us. Please pray for every thing to go right.
I wonder if the procrastination over the last year was part of what my dad was referring to in his comment about "pull'n teeth"?

Licences? We don't need no stink'n licences!
We have been in Cambodia almost six weeks. We had submitted the paperwork for drivers licenses the day after we arrived. They then gave pieces of paper with an official stamp that allowed us to drive. We have been driving since then.

Today we finally received our drivers licenses.
I find this kind of funny/ironic for a few reasons;
With that said, it is nice to know we are doing everything we know to comply to the authority here. I gives me comfort to know there is one less reason for a cop to hope for a bribe.

I find this kind of funny/ironic for a few reasons;
- It takes a lot less time to get through the process in the states. I suppose this is an example of the "slower pace" here.
- By the way poeple drive you couldn't tell they are aware of the "laws"
- The driving age is 18 for cars and 16 for moto/moped/motor scooter but it is very common to see very young drivers who do not meet these requirments.
- We hear the police would probably let you go for a $1 bribe (license or not).
