The Second Times The Charm

This is the second time we have been through this part of the school year in Cambodia. In other words it is the first set of seconds. About this time last year we were still trying to remember where we can buy food, never mind witch key fit any one of 7 padlocks or how to tell the twins apart.

When we went to the School awards ceremony this year it had a lot more meaning. We had a few guys in the house receive a few awards. Sammy secured the most improved player in middle school basketball. David earned an award for his middle school science fare project. Hocklee received the "Daniel Award" for consistently standing for his faith and what is right. Veassna pulled in the MVP for High school Volleyball. Pov acquired one for the high school science fair. It was encouraging to see the guys hard work and commitment recognized.

The High-schoolers had an end of the year banquet that they all get "purdy". They dress up and go eat with all their class mates at a nice restaurant. It's all very exciting.

Calebs Memory

There are times it may be hard to believe that Caleb finds anything fun. Don't believe it though, lest you fall prey to the cunning mind that resides behind his eyes. A few months ago Caleb learned to play on our computer. The game he likes the most is a memory game. Caleb is very serious about his game. He can sit there and play one after another. It's a joy to watch, and a little unnerving when you realize how good he is at it. I bet everyone of us has underestimated Caleb at one point or another.

Many people have asked "How do Caleb and Logan handle the traveling"? They are very patient and happy. On top of that they have an unreal ability to sleep anywhere and through anything. In other words, our boys are easy to travel with.

When the "Beast" Needs Food and Drink

This establishment is in the tourist district. I'm not sure if they know what this "name" implies to some people....

Best of the first year...

For the People that we were fortunate enough to see in the states you may have already seen this.... But For the vast majority that we were unable to see here is one thing we hoped to share with you.
